Well, I ‘ve been slavin’ away at the site getting some updates and getting the September calendar ready. We have a few new lines of paper in the store! Swing by and check ‘em out. Of course you can check out some of my super cool awesome posses of me with the new paper here.

We are all still trying to get back into the swing of things after what happened the other day.  There will be a few finishing touches to the calendar with class details in the next day or two.

Looks like we have a cat burglar on our hands! They wasted a window, raided the register, smashed the safe, and then fled like fools. Our very kind landlord promptly replaced the window for us, and we got things cleaned up pretty quickly.

You may ask, “Sammy you are there to watch the store, why didn’t you stop them?” Well, my WONDERFUL boss has given me plenty of responsibilities other than just sitting around (we had to negotiate something after she neglected to buy me food after the whole “coupon” incident). I so happened to be on the roof next a noisy air-conditioner unit changing out filters while the whole thing went down. So STOP BLAMING ME!!

Anyhoo, we aren’t letting a little thing like this slow us down, we are moving ahead at full steam! We have new products and new classes to serve you and your scrapbooking needs. So stop by and say hello (and donate a few dollars to the flat-sammy-needs-food-fund).

Anyhoo, since I’m REALLY busy running the store and stuffs, the website update will happen sometime when I feel like it. So chill out and relax, we will have more info of what is going on up soon.

Well, somebody is beginning to take notice of me around here. They finally gave me a featured spot on the website! We have agreed on a 3 month contract for endorsing featured products promotions around the store. Also there was some talk about an acting gig later on if this goes well, but negotiations on that might take a few weeks. Anyhoo, I’m really excited to be more involved with the store in a more public role.

Well, since I’m in a good mood today, I’ll talk for a little bit.

They call me Flat Stanley. I am a cat that lives in the back of a small store. I also work here. Nobody around here really appreciates what I do around here. I do all the dirty work that nobody wants to do. I watch the store overnights for cat burglars(between my scheduled naps), I deal with all of the rats and cockroaches that come around here and make sure they pay rent. I have to  supervise and make sure everyone is doing their job, because nobody around here does anything unless you hold their hand through every little thing to make sure it gets done the way it needs to be done.

That’s enough for now. I have to run to the grocery store for some more tuna.

What is with you people? Don’t you have a life? I know I don’t, but somebody out there should at least have something better to do than to read some one discussing their private and pathetic life?!?
